My oldest and dearest friend will be getting married at the height of Spring in 2012 at extreme heights. She has decided to tie the knot with stunning Smokey Mountain vistas at her back, on the grounds of her parents' extraordinary mountain home. She wants the affair to stay classic, not fussy, down home and relaxed. She will have her choice of flowers with Spring in full bloom and Mother Nature to thank for her beautiful decor. As a nod to her woodworking mother, I've incorporated various centerpieces sitting on slices of wood. Simple yet statement making. At the request of the bride, I've added a few touches of plum.
As her planning progresses, I'm sure we'll revisit this board and refine it. I can't wait to see where her planning takes her and what choices she makes! For now, here's some gorgeous wildflowers and natural settings to inspire her...
